Lola and Bruiser – update and photo
Love it! It’s not been a week yet and we have made a ton of progress with all of them getting along. This couldn’t have happened the first few days. Glad to report all is going very well. They are awesome pups! Lola the Queen holds court.

Happy Tail!! Lola and Bruiser have a wonderful new family! These lucky dogs have a new mom, dad, sister, and awesome doggie brother Gunner. A dog for each family member’s lap, now isn’t that a great family portrait!? Happy dance!!
And an update from Lola and Bruiser’s new family already. This is sooo funny!!
I’m a sucker for dogs, rescue dogs. Yep, it’s a known fact. Meet our two new family members Lola and Bruiser. Brother & sister. Adopted yesterday from the Colorado Miniature Schnauzer Rescue & Vintage Dog Rescue. They’ve been through a lot of change this week, but are such awesome pups so far. Gunner Santeramo on the other hand isn’t so sure. LOL. Always keeping an eye on things.
Windy was adopted!
In the spirit of Foster Awesome weekend, we are pleased to announce that Windy has also gone from foster to furever as she joins the Violet, Max, and Megan pack. You may have wondered why it went silent on posts about her…. well, we fell in love very quickly with her and she’s become a treasured pack member. So happy tails wagging at our house!! 
P.S. To honor her showgirl past, her new name is Mitzy!
Tootsie and Conri were adopted!
Remember Tootsie and Conri, the bonded pair who were being fostered by a wonderful family? Well, the family fell in love with them, so the pair moved from foster to “Foster Awesome!” recently. Yep, Tootsie and Conri will be staying furever with their new family. That’s cause for a cheer! Yippee!!! 
Spencer was adopted!
Happy Tail!! Spencer, the gorgeous senior gentleman who was owner surrendered when he didn’t get along well with a new puppy, has quickly found his happily ever after where he will be cherished forever. Spencer’s new mom specifically said she wanted to give this senior boy a loving and safe retirement home. Happy dance!!!
Teddy was adopted!
Happy Tail!! Teddy was adopted this week! Here he is in his dad’s arms. His mom is holding his two fur siblings, the other black mini is also from our rescue. What a cute trio of pups. Happy dance all around!!
Running Bear was adopted!
Happy Tail! The little puppy mill survivor, Bear, has moved to his forever home!! Here is Bear with his new mom, dad, and fur sibling Curley who also came from our rescue. We are already hearing happy updates from the new family who are quite in love with this little guy.
Our heartfelt thanks and love to Bear’s foster family who did so much to prepare him for this step. The foster family were at the adoption to his new family this weekend. Bear has quite a support system. Happy dance of freedom and love for this little guy!!
Mattie was adopted!
Happy Tail! Adorable little Mattie has her forever home!! Along with a wonderful new mom and dad who are happily undertaking the care and love of this diabetic girl, she gets to be the sister to a schnauzer boy, a Chi boy, and even a baby hairless kitten brother. Happy dance for this big fun family!!
