- Every dog is spayed or neutered, up to date on shots, vet checked, heartworm tested, and microchipped
- More than half of the dogs have dental care while in rescue
- 98% of the dogs are heartworm negative. Occasionally we get one that is positive, in which case we start treatment right away, as the condition is easily treatable
- Dogs over 8 years old have blood tests
- Special needs doggies are marked with a green heart
