Dunkirk was adopted!

Dunkirk (Mini Schnauzer Mix) adopted

Happy Tail!! This is an extra special one. Remember Dunkirk who arrived in rescue over a year ago with a terrible leg fracture? He’d been found as a stray, so who knows how long this guy had been running on his broken leg. So many of you donated to his surgical fund and he had a very successful surgery with months of rehab to follow. Well….Dunkirk, now named Duncan, has found an incredibly loving new home! We are so excited, and our belief that there is a perfect home for every animal (sometimes it just takes a little time to find) is renewed. Very exuberant HAPPY DANCE for this boy’s wonderful new life!!! ???

Barney was adopted!

Barney (Mini Schnauzer) adotped

Happy Tail! Handsome Barney was with a wonderful foster family for a few months while he waited for his perfect forever home. Then it happened….his new mom saw him and fell in love! Sometimes it takes a little while, but that wait is so worth it when a perfect match is made. ?Happy beginnings are the best!!

Buttons was adopted!

Buttons (Mini Schnauzer adopted)

Happy Tail! Buttons is a very sweet senior lady who had been a breeding dog in Missouri before she came to us. Her background didn’t affect the loving side of this girl though and now she has a wonderful new mom to snuggle with for the rest of her happy life. Yay for Buttons, she’s proof that senior dogs rock!! ???

Cricket was adopted!

Cricket (Daschund / Schnauzer Mix) adopted

Happy Tail!! Although a little bit belated in posting, our first adoption of 2016 is a true love story and needed the perfect celebratory collage. Cricket, who had been blind likely from birth, and who had her eyes removed while in rescue to prevent future problems, was adopted by an incredible man who fell in love with her from her photos. She is a much beloved princess already and will know nothing but awesome from here on out. This calls for a most exuberant happy dance. Woohoo!! ??

Noodle was adopted!

And look, he was already wearing his cute party collar in anticipation of a happy new year! Ha! ?
