Adopt Madison: a loving adventurer

12/02/2015 – Madison has been adopted!

A Good Samaritan here in Denver opened her front door one evening last week and this little dog was curled up on her front porch. He stood up and walked right into her house. We have named this boy Madison. The woman says he was pretty emaciated, filthy, full of fleas, but she fed him, bathed him, and gave him a safe and warm place to stay. He got along great with her two big dogs and young son. He appears to be house trained too! He had a collar but no tags, and no microchip. She posted him on a number of lost dogs sites and notified local shelters, but no owner has come forward, so last night we brought him into rescue to get him some much needed vet care. He appears to be quite elderly and needs to be neutered, have a substantial dental, and we’ll do blood work too before he’s available for adoption. He’s a sweet, quiet, pretty active and loving little doggie. Stay tuned on this newest rescue cutie
