Zoey was adopted!

Happy Tail!  Sometimes the universe just makes it so clear….. Zoey was being surrendered in another state by her owners just as a rescue family member was driving to Colorado for the holidays, so she hitched a ride. We quickly got her vetted and a much needed dental completed. We were starting to promote Zoey on the Facebook page when we received an email from a former adopter who just that day had lost her beloved boy to a grand mal seizure on their morning walk.

Zoey to the rescue!! We took her the next day for a meet and greet and the bond between the two was immediate. It was a visit filled with laughter and tears all around when we learned that the adopter had just lost her beloved husband 4 months earlier, so losing her beloved rescue dog was just too much to bear. Zoey was the absolute perfect match, and as we drove off, the new friends set off on their first of many walks they will enjoy together.

Lola was adopted!

Happy Tail!  Continuing the lovely parade of happily adopted doggies, tonight we celebrate sweet Lola who started as a frightened girl curled up on the cement floor of a California shelter. A rescue angel pulled her from the shelter and a team came together to bring her to our rescue. A special foster home helped Lola heal her body and her spirit, then former adopters met her and fell in love. So now, happy and healthy, Lola is living the Colorado dream with two loving humans and a fun loving fur sibling. Woohoo!!

Holly was adopted!

Happy Tail! Another sweet pup found her home for the holiday! Everyone who met Holly fell in love with her, and when our former adopter met her it was truly love at first sight. This little girl is loving her new life with a wonderful back yard to play in, and mom’s lap to snuggle in whenever she wants. Merry Christmas Holly!!

Nicholas was adopted!

❤️ Happy Tail! ❤️ Santa made a quick trip to Colorado to bring sweet Nicholas the top item on his wish list – A FOREVER HOME!! His new family fell deeply in love with this little pup before they even met him. When we took him to visit he sealed the deal with his cuteness. And after just a day, his canine sister realized that he was a pretty good snuggler, so peace descended, and Nicholas will enjoy his first Christmas in safety, comfort, and best of all – loved!! 💕🐶🐾
