❤️ Happy Tail! ❤️ We had a number of Charlies this year. This cutie we called Charlie May since he came to us in May. We are clever, right!? Ha!!
Charlie May was a bit of a tricky guy. A beautiful boy, but some really serious reactivity issues when he is out in public, especially when bikers or skateboarders would pass. He was originally adopted from a far away rescue but had relocated to the Denver area. His adopters were moving to a high-rise in downtown Denver, which would have been a complete nightmare for this poor boy, so the adopters contacted the rescue where he came from, who in turn contacted us about taking him and avoiding more stress for this guy. We of course said yes, and then we worked to find him a good home. Along came a young man who was so earnest and committed to making a good home for Charlie and we were thrilled. He recently bought a home with a wonderful yard, and has two dog loving housemates who were completely on board for a new furry friend. So sweet Charlie May started a new chapter of love here in Colorado. Woohoo!!! 🎉🐶🎉
