Adopt Tootsie and Conri: sweet little rugrats

04/26/2015 – Tootsie and Conri have been adopted!!! (by their awesome foster parents!)

Tootsie and Conri came into rescue together from Kansas in October, 2012 and were adopted early in 2013. Unfortunately, the adopter’s health took a turn for the worse and she recently had to return them to rescue.

Tootsie is the gray female who is now 9 years old, and needs to lose about 6 pounds! Conri is the white male who is now about 6 years old, and at 27 pounds could also stand to lose a couple of pounds! They are very bonded and are looking for a retirement home together. The adopter said they barked at passing walkers while out in the yard, although they have been quiet since they were returned. They are not big into toys, but do love people attention. They are house trained and would probably do best in a quiet household with a fenced in backyard.

Tootsie and Conri have been spayed and neutered, they are up to date on their shots (rabies, distemper, and kennel cough), they are vet checked, heartworm tested negative and micro chipped. Both have had their teeth cleaned this week. We have done a basic blood test for Tootsie since she was returned, because she is over 8 years old. If you would like to meet Tootsie and Conri, please complete the online adoption application. You will receive a receipt when we receive the application. After review, we will give you a call to set up a time to bring the dogs for a visit.

A big THANK YOU to a new foster family who have taken Tootsie and Conri into their home. This bonded pair were recently returned to our rescue when their mom experienced serious health problems. And now they are back with a wonderful foster mom and dad. Life is good  But they still need a home!
