Adopt Simon: a timid, gentle friend

 Simon has been adopted!

Simon was the little guy who ended up, with a number of other doggies, in the night drop kennel at a Denver shelter. He was very withdrawn and fearful at the shelter, but he has been very wiggly and loving in his foster home. The only time his timid side has come out is when he was groomed and when he first meets someone. He is about 4 years old with mostly black fur and weighs just over 12 pounds. His fur is very wiry, but mats seem to brush out easily. He just needs his beard to grow back now. He doesn’t understand what toys are for, but he is anxious for people affection and petting. He gets along well with other dogs in his foster home.

Simon is neutered, he is up to date on his shots (rabies, distemper and kennel cough), vet checked, heartworm tested negative and on preventative while in rescue, and micro chipped. If you would like to meetSimon, please complete the adoption application. We will give you a call to set up a time to bring Simon for a visit.
