Adopt Pinky: the island girl!

Pinky, our little hurricane survivor from Puerto Rico, was adopted a couple of months ago, but recently came back to us when she was really struggling with the mountain weather conditions since she has no yard and thus needed to be walked for her potty breaks. Her adopter really struggled with this decision as she adored this little girl, but this island girl was just not ready for living at that high altitude where the wind never stops, so she’s looking for a nice home, maybe with a yard, in a lower elevation.

Pinky is a small, adorable, and loving terrier mix, right around 12 pounds. We think that she is about 12 years old, but she’s very active. She gets along well with people, especially if they give her belly rubs. She is ok with other dogs as long as they don’t get in her face, but will be great as a solo dog. She is definitely crate trained, and with access to a yard (or more frequent walks) her housetraining is good. She is quiet little thing.

Pinky is spayed, she is up to date on her vaccinations (rabies, distemper and kennel cough), vet checked, heartworm tested negative and on preventative while in rescue, and micro chipped. She seems to have cataracts, but sees well enough to get around well. If you would like to meet Pinky, go to www.cominischnazuerrescue.com and complete the on-line adoption application. We will give you a call to set up a time to bring Pinkie for a visit.
