06/01/2016 – Jasper has been adopted! 
Jasper is a small (11 pounds) beautiful black mini who is about 6 years old and is looking for a calm, quiet home. He is a very affectionate boy and loves people attention, but doesn’t seem to know what toys are for. He is fine with other dogs. He was taken into a shelter after his owner of 3 months asked a vet to euthanize him because he has heartworms. We took him into rescue and treated him for the heartworms, but it will be about 6 months before we can retest him to be sure we got all the worms.
Jasper is neutered, he is up to date on his vaccinations (rabies, distemper and kennel cough), vet checked, and micro chipped. Rescue will pay to retest Jasper for heartworms in six months and retreat him if necessary. If you would like to meet this little lover, please complete the adoption application.
