Adopt Ellie: the perfect “in-charge” girl

05/13/2015 – Ellie has been adopted!!!

Ellie is a 5 year old black Miniature Schnauzer looking for her forever home. She was found running as a stray and was transferred to rescue because she is so active. Ellie is taller than most minis, and at 26 lbs. she is definitely on the large side for a miniature schnauzer. She is very active and gets along well with other dogs, but she is the “in-charge” girl. She wants to be with her person, and enjoys treats. She is not too interested in toys. She would do best in a home with an experienced terrier owner because she can be a handful, but she is a total sweetheart!

Ellie is spayed, she is up to date on her shots (rabies, distemper and kennel cough), vet checked, heartworm tested negative and on preventative while in rescue, and micro chipped. If you would like to meet Ellie go to the Adoption Application page and complete the adoption application. You will receive an email receipt when the application is submitted. After the application is reviewed, we will give you a call to set up a time to bring Ellie for a visit.
