Adopt Coco: A cuddly poodle

 Coco has been adopted!

A note from Coco  “Hi, my name is Coco and I am looking for my forever home. Right now I’m living in a foster home with a cat and two small dogs. We get along well, but I think I’d prefer being an “only dog”. I’m not fond of big dogs or little children. I walk well on my leash, especially if I can walk on your right side (I got an eye infection and had to have my right eye removed, so I only have a left eye). My foster mom was surprised at how well I keep up with the other dogs, even though I’m 12 years old. I’m happy to stay in my kennel at night and when my foster mom leaves to go on errands. If I go outside on a regular schedule, I remember to only poo and pee outside. I bark sometimes, but in general, I’m pretty quiet. I love cuddling with my foster mom. I have a lot of life and love to share. I hope I find my forever home soon!”

Coco is a light brown female toy poodle who was surrendered to the shelter by her owner. She weighs in at just under 11 pounds and traveled all the way from Houston to Denver to find a loving retirement home. She is about 12 years old. Her heart is in good shape, and she just had her teeth cleaned and cared for. We also removed her blind right eye to prevent future infections. She gets along well with other dogs she knows, although she is a little timid at first. She loves to be a lap dog. She investigated the whole yard while she was waiting for her pictures to be taken.

Chocolate (Poodle) for adoption

Coco is spayed, she is up to date on her shots (rabies, distemper, and kennel cough), vet checked, heartworm tested negative, and on preventative while in rescue, and micro chipped. If you would like to meet Chocolate, complete the adoption application.
