Adopt Buster and Buddy: rural boys are back in town

We are excited to announce that these adorable boys from a rural shelter are joining our rescue in a week. They are 1.5 year old brothers and have always been together. Prior to coming to the shelter they were free roaming farm dogs. They were getting in trouble with the neighbor because they would chase chickens. They were a matted mess, with lots of burrs and smelled like cow poop when they came in, but you can see how gorgeous they were under all that mess. They love people and will settle down and be content as lap guys. They are iffy on cats, although did well with the shelter cats, and they are not especially great with other dogs. Buddy (with the blue collar) weighs 21 lbs, Buster (red collar) weighs 25 lbs. They are HW negative, neutered and current on vaccinations. These guys arrive next week, and after a quick stop at our vet will be ready for a foster or, better yet, forever home. Summer is coming, great time to get some new friends to play with. Maybe these guys are of interest!!
