Adopt Zoey!

Zoey was surrendered by her owner, but we don’t know exactly why except there was a young child who moved too fast. Based on the letter Zoey’s person sent with her, she was very loved, but the owners’ living circumstances didn’t allow them to keep her. She is a beautiful light gray almost 6 year old mini who is well trained, healthy, loves people attention and gets along well with other dogs. She is quiet and well house trained. Her only problem is that she is overweight. She was about 19 pounds when she was spayed at the age of about 2 years. Today she weighs over 38 pounds, and the vet is suggesting that she should lose at least 10+ pounds. Some of her weight problem may be due to her poor diet prior to coming into rescue. Today she is eating a good diet, and is walking for exercise, in her foster home. Zoey is spayed, she is up to date on her shots (rabies, distemper and kennel cough), vet checked, heartworm tested negative and on preventative while in rescue, and micro chipped. Zoey had her teeth cleaned and needed some removed while she was in rescue. If you would like to meet Zoey, go to www.cominischnauzerrescue.com and complete the adoption application. We recommend that you print out the application prior to submitting it, just in case! We will give you a call to set up a time to bring Zoey for a visit.
