Howie has been adopted! 
Howie is a 3 year old white male Miniature Poodle/Bichon who is very scared. He was picked up as a stray off the streets and needs someone to love him and teach him how to be a dog! He is timid with other dogs and people, but will allow himself to be picked up and held, but is always “on guard” as he doesn’t know what to expect. He is a little mischievous when he thinks his foster mom has left the house he will jump out of his exercise pen and wander around the house. He doesn’t do any damage, and most often is found curled up sleeping in a dog bed near another dog. He weighs about 18 pounds and is white and tan with curly fur. He needs work on his house-training.
Howie is neutered, he is up to date on his shots (rabies, distemper and kennel cough), vet checked and micro chipped. He tested positive for heartworms, so we have treated him. It will be about 6 months before we can retest him to confirm that the treatment got rid of all the worms. At that time, rescue will pay to have Howie retested and retreated if necessary.
