Gretel is a sweet little mini who is looking for a retirement home. She and her friend Hansel were found in very bad condition running as strays and desperately in need of help. Unfortunately, Hansel was in the end stage of kidney failure and went ahead to the rainbow bridge to wait for Gretel. Gretel is a little shy, but once she gets to know you, she will seek out attention. She loves to sit on the couch and cuddle. She weighs about 16 pounds and seems to be at least crate trained. She is looking for a quiet home with a comfortable bed and good soft food.
Gretel is spayed, she is up to date on her shots (rabies, distemper and kennel cough), vet checked, heartworm tested negative and on preventative while in rescue, and micro chipped. Her teeth were in pretty bad shape so we cleaned the good ones and pulled the bad ones! If you would like to meet Gretel, go to www.cominischnauzerrescue.com and complete the on-line adoption application. We will give you a call to set up a time to bring Gretel for a visit.
