Lance had one home from the time he was a puppy, 13 years ago. He is a sweet and beautiful gray Mini who weighs about 18 pounds. In the last few years, however, his owner stopped taking him to the vet for routine care. He had a benign fatty tumor on his chest that weighed almost a pound when we removed it, and he is deaf. The owner also said that she thought he had glaucoma. Our vet did not see this issue. Recently, he bit a 2 year old child in the home and was relinquished to a local shelter. We have no details about the circumstances except that the previous owner stated that it was “unprovoked.” He had not behaved aggressively until the bite and has not behaved aggressively since he has been in rescue, but, of course, he is looking for an adult home. He is doing great in his foster home and gets along great with other dogs.
Lance is neutered, he is up to date on his shots (rabies, distemper and kennel cough), vet checked, heartworm tested negative and on preventative while in rescue, and micro chipped.
