Princess and Kato are enjoying their foster home and are gaining confidence there. They were found running stray together, but we suspect more and more that Kato may be Princess’s son since she stays close to him and frequently gives him kisses and “grooms” him.
We think Princess is 12 or 13 years old, but she’s got a lot of vim and vigor for a senior. She looks like a poodle or spaniel mix, and weighs about 18 pounds. She probably was someone’s “Princess” for part of her life because she likes people, but she was running as a stray for a long time based on her matted fur and poor dental health when she was picked up. She is a little timid with people, but likes the food and treats that they bring!
Kato is probably about 6 years old and is a 14 pound possibly mini schnauzer mix. Kato is still fearful of people, but will allow you to pet him and hold him. His foster family is working on building his trust.
Princess is spayed and Kato is neutered, they are up to date on their shots (rabies, distemper and kennel cough), vet checked, heartworm tested negative and on preventative while in rescue, and micro chipped.
