05/10/2016 – Tinsley has been adopted!
Update:
What a difference a haircut can make!! Look at the adorable Tinsley’s before and after photos. He is still looking for his forever home.
Tinsley came into rescue recently after dining on a plastic mat! His people surrendered him because they were unable to afford his required surgery. He had four blockages removed from his stomach and intestines, but has healed nicely and would like to get on with finding a new family. Tinsley is silver and charcoal with a lot of wavy fur, so there is probably some schnoodle in his background. He is taller than a typical mini, weighs around 27 pounds and does still have his tail. He is very smart and loves to play with other dogs and people. He also likes lots of affection and treats. He has tried to eat some other things that should not be on his menu, so it would probably be best if he went to a home where someone was around most of the time to keep an eye on his activities and give him plenty of exercise. An active retired person or couple, or someone who works from home would be an ideal adopter.
Tinsley is neutered, he is up to date on his shots (rabies, distemper and kennel cough), vet checked, heartworm tested negative and on preventative while in rescue, and micro chipped. If you would like to meet Tinsley, please complete the adoption application. We will give you a call to set up a time to bring him for a visit.
