11/14/2015 – Sara has been adopted!!!
Sara is a 6 year old 12 pound mini who is looking for a loving person to care for her. She came into rescue from a local vet office who had taken Sara in when her elderly Mom could no longer care for her. Sara is diabetic so she needs special food and insulin shots twice each day. The insulin (a $25 bottle lasts about a month) and needles (a $28 box of 100 lasts about 50 days) are available from Walmart. Sara is still getting used to the needles, but since they are small and thin, it almost seems like she dislikes the restraint more than the needle stick! Sara gets along well with other dogs and loves people attention. She doesn’t seem to know what toys are for, but likes her soft bed and blankie.
Sara is spayed and up to date on his shots (rabies, distemper and kennel cough), vet checked, heartworm tested negative and on preventative while in rescue, and micro chipped. If you would like to meet Sara, complete the online adoption application. You will receive a receipt email when we receive the application. We will give you a call to set up a time to bring Sarah for a visit.
