12/23/2014 – Sabi has been adopted!!! 
Sabi is a little 2 year old terrier mix who came to Colorado a few weeks ago from Texas to find his forever home. He had a tough life in Texas. He came with heartworm parasites and a BB in his shoulder! He visited the vet where everyone fell in love with him. He got his heartworm treatment and is now in a foster home getting lots of love. He loves to play with people, and does ok with other dogs, although he is a little afraid of new dogs. His foster mom in Texas said that he was housetrained. Sabi is neutered, he is up to date on his shots (rabies, distemper and kennel cough), vet checked and micro chipped. We won’t be able to retest him for heartworms for 4 to 6 months. At that time, the rescue will get him checked for heartworms and provide any additional treatment that he needs.
