04/20/2016 – Rufus has been adopted! 
Rufus came into rescue from a cat hoarding situation in Kansas. We think he is about 7 years old and weighs in at about 25 pounds. He could certainly stand to lose a few pounds. Rufus loves people attention and seems to be house trained. He gets along well with other dogs, and of course, with cats!
Rufus is neutered and had his teeth cleaned and cared for while in rescue. He lost 17 teeth due to a lack of previous care, but he has recovered well and is eating moistened kibble. While he was “out” we also repaired his hernia and removed a fatty lipoma, so he is ready to go! If you would like to meet Rufus, please complete the adoption application.
