02/16/2016 – Izzy and Romeo have been adopted!!! 
Izzy and Romeo are happy puppies, just under a year old. She and her brother Romeo came from Las Cruces, NM where they were on “the list.” We were lucky to find transportation up to Albuquerque where they stayed with another rescue for a couple of weeks before completing their trip to CO courtesy of a couple of friends.
Izzy is black, white and brown with wiry fur and lots of energy. Romeo is black and white with wiry fur and lots of energy too! He gives lots of puppy kisses, which is how he got his name. They both enjoy running around the fenced-in backyard, and had lots of fun at doggie daycare last week, but they never get tired out! They love cuddling and attention and playing with other dogs. He is crate trained, but does still need some work on his housetraining. So does she.
Izzy is spayed and Romeo is neutered, they are up to date on their shots (rabies, distemper and kennel cough), vet checked, heartworm tested negative and on preventative while in rescue, and micro chipped.
