03/05/2016 – Rocky has been adopted!
Rocky was released by his owners because they didn’t want him any longer. He had lived outside for the first 2 ½ years of his life! He cuddled with a larger dog to stay warm in the winter. He gets along well with other dogs and cats. His owner never brought him into the house and thus never potty trained him. While Rocky has been in rescue he has learned about the “good life,” a soft bed, good food and a warm place to live. He is crate trained, and he is starting to learn house training. He is thrilled with people attention and affection. He would probably do best with a canine companion to teach him the ropes, and would love to have a person to love him. Rocky is gray and weighs about 15 pounds. He could definitely gain a couple of pounds.
He is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, rabies, distemper and kennel cough. He is vet checked, heartworm tested negative and on preventative while in rescue, and micro chipped. If you would like to meet Rocky, please complete the adoption application and we will give you a call to set up a time for us to bring him for a visit.
