12/15/2015 – Jake has been adopted! 
Please say hello to Jake. Jake’s family is getting transferred out of the country and can’t take take him, and since they’d had him only about a year after he was found as a stray, they decided that rescue was the best option for this sweet mellow boy to get placed in a forever home. Jake is around 10 yrs old, and other than needing to drop a few pounds, he seems pretty healthy. He’ll see our wonderful vet at Chatfield Veterinary tomorrow for his intake. Jake is quiet, gentle, very sweet, house trained, likes going for walks, great with other dogs, and lived with mid aged kids. Jake is neutered, he is up to date on his shots (rabies, distemper and kennel cough), vet checked, heartworm tested negative and on preventative while in rescue, and micro chipped.
