1/1/2016 – Cricket has been adopted! 
Cricket is probably a long haired dachshund mix. She is brown with very soft, medium length fur and weighs a little over 12 pounds. Cricket has probably been blind from birth. How she survived on the streets of Houston is a mystery, but we bet that her curiosity and gentle personality played a part. She is a very sweet little girl. She has learned her way around in her foster mom’s house very quickly and enjoys playing with the other dogs. Her favorite pastime though is picking up all the stuffed toys in the room and bringing them back to her bed where she chooses one to chew on! She also loves to be held and petted.
Cricket is spayed, she is up to date on her shots (rabies, distemper and kennel cough), vet checked, heartworm tested negative and on preventive while in rescue, and micro chipped.
