02/08/2016 – Dunkirk has been adopted!!! 
Dunkirk came to us with a broken front leg that may have been broken for some time. We held a fundraiser and raised the money to get him fixed up and his leg seems to be healing really well. He has been going to physical therapy twice a week for about 6 weeks now, and we are getting really attached to this cutie, so it is time for him to find a home. He is using the injured leg pretty consistently now, although he does lift it at times. When he runs, he usually runs on the leg. Dunkirk would do best in an experienced terrier home as an only dog since he is very reactive to other dogs. He barks a lot at other dogs and needs supervision when meeting other dogs. Dunkirk would thrive with some training and with an owner who has worked with a similar situation in the past. He loves people. I massage his back everyday to loosen his muscles. It is hard because he usually rolls over on his back for belly rubs! He likes to be outside in the fenced backyard. An owner who could walk him would be great to walk off some of his energy. Dunkirk is neutered, he is up to date on his shots (rabies, distemper and kennel cough), vet checked, heartworm tested negative and on preventative while in rescue, and micro chipped.
