❤️ Happy Tail! ❤️ Today we celebrate a couple of sweet dogs who had some tough stuff to deal with when they came to rescue. First up is Toto who landed in a Texas shelter with a terrible break in his upper leg. We don’t know what happened, but the poor boy had surgery that resulted in pins and rods sticking out of his leg the day BEFORE he transported to us. 😩 He was with us for months while our orthopedic surgeon monitored his healing and eventually surgically removed the pins and rods. Through all of this, Toto was the sweetest loving boy, and right after Thanksgiving a wonderful application arrived. Toto quickly met this family, clicked his paws together, and was finally HOME…. 💖🐾🐶
