Hoover – update and photo

Hoover update

We received this wonderful note from Hoover, now Cooper’s, family. Remember this little one who came to us with a previously fractured front leg that really had never healed, and a malformed eye? We got him all fixed up and he found the perfect family. This is why we do what we do!

“I just want to drop you a note and let you know how much we love Cooper. He has adjusted to our home and family so well. Bear, Chewy and Cooper play most of the day, chasing each other and playing tug of war with the stuffed animals. It’s like they grew up together.

Thank you for saving Cooper and giving him another chance to have a great life.”

It’s a wrap! Two more segments recorded with our friends at 9NEWS (KUSA). Today we were welcomed by Belen De Leon, meteorologist. Charlie and Oscar, a bonded pair of boys, and sweet, and active(!), Toto, made their TV debuts.

TinkerBell (Gracie) – update and photo

Tinkerbell/Gracie (Mini Schnauzer adopted)

Where are they now?? We truly love hearing about our former rescue doggies. ??

“You may not remember me but I adopted ‘TinkerBell’ who is now known as Gracie about 5 years ago. I just want you to know she started out shaking and scared and in your words at the time, emotionally damaged. You were correct but now, she is a curious, sweet, loving and happy dog. She’s also my shadow and constant companion. My husband and I travel between two states and homes now for business. To our surprise, Gracie has also proven to be a great in-cabin airplane traveler! My seat mates compliment me all the time about how sweet and well-behaved she is. Thank you for your non-profit. I recommended you just the other day. Gracie is now 8 yrs old.”

Help dogs, eat and chat with us at Schnautoberfest 2016!

Schnautoberfest 2016 Event

The event page is up! Woohoo! Tickets will be available at the event – $25 gets you your first pint, a taco or two from the neighboring yummy restaurant, and an event keepsake. Donations also cheerfully accepted:cominischnauzerrescue.com/donate.

Our August vet bill alone was over $6,000, so we are excited to see how our first foray into hosting a fundraiser goes, and with everyone’s generous help, we can keep rescuing so many little doggies in need.
