09/26/2015 – Piper has been adopted!!! 
Piper is a 3 year old schnauzer / bichon frise / poodle mix who came from a shelter in Aztec, NM. While she was being spayed, our vet found two bb’s in her tummy, so she went through some hell in her past.
Despite this past, Piper is a loving, gregarious girl who loves to play and run around the backyard, but please be sure to allow for lots of lap time too! ? She is good playing with other dogs but wants one on one time with her person, so may do best as an only child or with an experienced multiple dog owner. She is very athletic and can counter surf, so watch your food. She needs some work on her house training, but truly wants to please so she learns very quickly. Who is ready to add this curly, soulful, loving girl to their family?
