Lola is a pretty and petite Mini female who is looking for love. She is about 8 years old and weighs just over 14 pounds. She was surrendered by her owner to a local shelter because she was aggressive with some dogs on walks. Her owner stated that she was fine with the dog she lived with and many she met on walks. Shelter noted that she was fine during their testing with another dog and she has been fine with other dogs in rescue.
She has lived with a cat, but was reactive when she saw one during her vet exam. Her previous owner stated that she used to jump a 4 foot fence and is a “door darter” if she gets the opportunity. Her previous owner, the shelter and her foster mom all say she loves people attention and likes to sit with “her” person for attention, watching TV or reading. We would suggest a quiet adult home with experienced terrier owners.
Lola is spayed, she is up to date on vaccines (rabies, distemper and kennel cough), vet checked, heartworm tested and on preventative while in rescue, and micro chipped. The shelter cleaned her teeth and she did have several pulled, but she does eat dry kibble. We have done a general blood panel while she has been in rescue, and all values are within normal limits. Her urinalysis showed that she had crystals in her urine, so we are feeding her a prescription food. Her X-rays show she has no bladder stones.
