06/04/2016 – Buddy is nearly adopted! 
Buddy’s foster mom reports that he’s doing really well and that this 7 year old, approx 22 lb. boy is ready for his forever home:
Buddy settled in immediately and has made himself quite comfortable in our home. I’m using a halter during walking him, which seems to work better than a neck collar. Typical Schnauzer on walks, his excitement puts him out front as leader of the pack with lots of energy to investigate all the smells in the neighborhood. He is so well trained and polite in the house; goes to the door for potty breaks; sleeps quietly all night in the crate and waits to be invited onto your lap for petting. He is a delightful guy and a great companion.
Buddy needs to go to a home without children since his former family told us he was growly with their pre-teen kid’s friends.
