Day 12: The 12 Days of Happy Tails! 🐶
❤️ Happy Tail! ❤️ We saved this very special collage for today’s happy tail. Everyone likely remembers sweet Aztec who came from an out of state shelter where she was on the “not adoptable” list due to a horrendous ear condition that likely resulted from a long untreated ear infection. After consultations with specialists, and thanks to many generous donations from so many of you, Aztec had a very complicated surgery in early November where both ear canals where basically removed and sealed off after clearing and removing several really awful infections in the inner ear. She was put right away on several strong antibiotics to continue killing off any remaining yukky stuff. Well, this happy girl felt SO much better and healed really well, then right before Thanksgiving she went to live with this amazing mother and daughter who are giving her the life we’d dreamed of for her! This is an exuberantly wagging happy tail!! Woohoo!! 🎉🐶
