My name is Lexi and I am looking for a retirement home. I am a female black and silver mini schnauzer. I am about 10.5 years old and weigh about 15 pounds. My Dad recently lost his job and has some medical issues and can no longer take care of me. He asked rescue to take care of me and find me a great new home. I have lived with Mom and Dad since I was a puppy, so I would do best in a quiet home with no children and people who are home much of the time.
I don’t care much for toys, I prefer sitting on laps and getting petted. I would be a great companion while you are reading or watching TV. I don’t mind traveling in a car as long as I get my share of attention! As I get a little older, I don’t see as well as I did, so it is best if you let me know when you are going to pick me up.
