Happy Tail! Porter and his new dad are inseparable! This sweet little senior doggie found himself displaced when his owners moved in with family and the other dogs weren’t nice to him. His new dad had lost his best doggie friend recently and he was having a hard time finding his smile again. Then he and Porter met and the match was perfect. These two bachelors have got each other’s backs now!! 💕🐶🎉
❤ Happy Tail! ❤ Theo’s foster family got him all ready for his forever home, and last week he found that perfect home. He has a wonderful new mom and a human sister. He also has a cute westie fur brother. Happy dance for sweet Theo who knew patience would pay off 💕🐶💕
❤ Happy Tail! ❤ A previous adopter recently lost her friend and was so sad. Then she saw Lily and realized she was ready for a new doggie. But she now lives in Arizona, so the challenge was on to figure out how to get Lily south. It fell into place all of a sudden when our friend Kaitlin called and said she happened to be driving to AZ! Perfect! So along with a new forever home, Lily also had a wonderful several day road trip through the southwest.
And Lily goes into her new life with her pretty handmade blanket thanks to the volunteers at Wrapped in Love – Colorado. 💕💕
❤ Happy Tail! ❤ Oreo, now called Zeek, sneaked into the schnauzer rescue then quickly found his forever home. His people adore him and take him everywhere with them, so his dream came true…. belly rubs anytime he wants them!! 😁 This sweet little cookie will have the best life 🎉💕🐶
❤ Happy Tail! ❤ Lola was in rescue for just a blink before an applicant and former adopter met her and fell in love. She fits in perfectly with her schnauzer siblings, and…..she’s training already to be a therapy dog who will visit patients in the hospital! What a wonderful life this little girl is going to have! 🐶💕🎉
ps, she was “wrapped in love” with her beautiful blanket made by the volunteers of WIL – Colorado 😍
❤ Happy Tail! ❤ Whiskey came into rescue as a stray with a dislocated hip. One of the wonderful vets at Chatfield Veterinary was able to pop the hip back into it’s socket then she took him in as her foster so that she could monitor his hip. He started with hobbles on his back legs to keep them from pulling that hip, and each week he got stronger. He had all sorts of adventures, even a camping trip in Utah! Then this couple met this cutie and fell in love 💜 and Whiskey Moon Pie became Oliver and he’s off on his new forever family adventure. Woohoo! 🎉💕🐶
Thanks to Kara, Heather, and Chatfield for helping make this happy tail possible!
❤ Happy Tail! ❤ Little Pip found her dream home. This young cutie is full of life and puppy energy and is already making her new family laugh. She starts training classes next week, and smart girl that she is, we know that she’s going to be a star. Pip – Pip – Hurray!!!! 🎉💕🐶😊
❤ Happy Tail! ❤ This loving family lost their girl dog recently and they, and their boy Max, were so terribly sad. Further, sweet Max is blind and he seemed very desolate and lost without his sighted sister. Along came Gabby to fill the void! This little girl is a puppy mill survivor, thus timid, so needed a special family. Well, she found it!! Her new mom and dad love her and are patiently showing her how wonderful life can be. And she and Max are becoming good friends and he’s visibly happier and more confident. Don’t you just love a happy beginning?! 🐶💕
ps: fun bonus was being part of the happy tail photo when Gabby’s aunt came to take photos. Woot!!
❤❤ Double Happy Tail!! ❤❤ Charlie and Nikki came into rescue together, along with an older girl. The older girl had a pretty serious cancer removed and is happily living with a forever foster mom. We needed to keep these two girls together though, so another foster family provided several months of love and care for them. Then a family saw their photos on the Facebook page and fell in love, and the happy ending was complete. All three girls are living the good life now 💕 Happy dance!!! 🎉🐶🐶🐶
❤ Happy Tail! ❤ Remember the little girl who came in with the broken pelvis? Pepper had likely been hit by a car before she was brought to a rural shelter. Unfortunately the injury was too old for a full blown repair surgery to be done by the time she came to us, but with many weeks of crate rest and physical therapy, she regained great mobility. Then her new family saw her photos and fell in love! So this sweet young puppy has an amazing family and a baby human sister to grow up with. Woohoo!!! Such a happy ending 🎉💕🐶
